Activities and Outings

Here at little Ones Childminding, I work to all children's individual needs.

I observe, plan and assess all children under the Early Years Foundation Stage (0-5 years only).

All parents will receive information on the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) when there children starts, this is a requirement for all childcare providers to follow the EYFS for all children 5 years and under.

All children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (under 5 year olds) Will receive a learning journey detailing the child's milestones, activities, with photos and observations taken in the setting.

It will also detail how your child is progressing in the setting. This is shared with parents and children, and we will discuss your child's learning and development on a regular basis.

All children under 3 years of age, who attend my setting on a regular basis will also receive a daily diary, which will detail what they have done that day, milestones, what they have eaten or drank, nappy changes and sleep times.

Our daily routine considers what each of the child's needs are, any school drop offs/ picks ups, nap times, snack and dinner times.

We attend local play and stay groups in the local area, this helps children have a chance to socialize in different surroundings.  Furthermore, children get out and about and mix with all age groups.
